  The genre I chose to make the mood board about is coming of age. In these types of movies the theme that is usually being represented is growing up. To show growing up in the mood board I used certain colors to represent maturing and some examples of coming of age movies. I chose this genre because I have watched many of these types of movies and I am familiar with the genre. As a result of that I have noticed that in these types of films the theme is usually growing up and maturing.  In coming of age movies the theme of growing up can be seen because the main character usually goes through something but in the end they end up learning and growing from that event. For example, in the movie "The Edge of Seventeen" it shows a teenage girl who has gone through stuff in her life and in the end even though there was not a solution to all the problems she did end up getting some form of closure.  1. Why is the Sound or lack of sound important to a scene in a film?      - Sound is important because it can help set the mood of a scene. If a scene was lacking sound it would be completely different than a scene with sound in a negative way.  2.
