Movie Opener Brainstorming & Research

1) Rise - Film Opening

  • In the film opening I saw that they used a lot of the same camera shots to show mainly what the character is doing and what is happening. A new character comes in after there was a transition from the soccer ball to him.
2) Dear Lover
  • In this film opening it was different than the first one. The way they were using the shots and the tone of the film opening was different and the actual shots they were using were different too.
3) Dare To Thrill Film Opening Daniel Garzon
  • I couldn't really tell what this one was about but I thought it was a cool way of opening into a movie. I liked how it left kind of a cliffhanger at the end of the scene leaving the audience wanting to watch more of it.
4) Always Watching Film Opening
  • This film opening was different because the genre of the film was horror. I liked how they did used cross-cutting in the scene to show him trying to become him. In my opinion I feel like they gave to much of the story line away so it kind of just tells you everything you everything that is going to happen in the movie.
5) White Coat
  • I really liked this film opening because it looked like a real film opening and it did make me want to watch the full movie, if it had one. I like how this film opening had ominous music and how the colors all added to the movie.
After watching all of these film openings, since my group and I already know what we are going to do our opening about we will try to use these videos as some inspiration for scenes to film and maybe some background music that we can use.

Preparing to Film

 Now that we have an idea of what we are going to film we are starting to prepare everything we are going to need and talking about what we are going to do. We are all going to be in the film and another one of our friends who is not in our group is going to help with the film too. We have not made any specific jobs for each of us we are just working on it all together and contributing whatever we can. Actors: Isabella G.L., Anneliese G., Anabella G.L. Costumes: They will be wearing our regular pajamas and for their hair and jewelry it will just be things we use every day too Props: Backpacks, snacks, pillow, a bed, a TV, and other things that would be found in a bedroom Location: Our location will be in Anneliese's house and we will be in her bedroom, her kitchen, and her hallway Dates & Times: The filming is going to start when the sun is starting to set but as the film goes on it will get dark.  Our main character is going to be portrayed by Isabella and in the movie her name will be Isabella (Isa). She has dark long hair, she is 5'5, she wears glasses, and she has brown eyes. Her costuming will be pajamas, which are a black long sleeve shirt, grey pajama pants, and slippers, and some props that will be associated with her are backpacks, blankets, and snacks. Her communication style is genuine and straightforward. Her personality is a 14-year-old, smart, funny, friendly, extroverted, and horror movie enthusiast. Her mental/ psychological state is anxious. Her motivations are family, friends, and school.
