Color Use

 In the blog mostly dark and gloomy colors to add to the film. The film is in the horror/ mystery genre so we needed to use more dark colors to make the film seem more scary. Colors like black and grey were used the most. In one scene the lighting was more gloomy light which added to the color use in the film and, in another scene, the lights being bright brought more attention in a scary way to the film especially when the lights turned off.

Camera Angles and Shots Project

In this project we had to recreate the following angles with pictures: Medium shot, close up, extreme close up, high angle, low angle, canted angle, long/wide shot, POV, two shot, and over the shoulder. We got to work in groups of two but we were also allowed to use other people for the pictures. In this blog I am going to go more in depth on some of the shots we did and what I thought about the shots. I liked this assignment because we got to do a hands on activity and see how we are supposed to film these different types of angles. Some shots we took were the two shot, high angle, and low angle. Finished Project Feelings

Write about issues you had during your project and how you fixed them.    - While making our movie we went through a couple challenges. The first challenge was procrastination. We waited a while to start which was not good but since the due date was getting closer we finally began doing it. The next challenge was getting together but we fixed it by deciding how to split up the work and making sure we all did equal work.  Write about changes that had to be made within your story.    - The one change that was made was the location of the story. In the beginning, we planned to do it at a camp but then we changed it to be at a house. Preparing to Film

 Now that we have an idea of what we are going to film we are starting to prepare everything we are going to need and talking about what we are going to do. We are all going to be in the film and another one of our friends who is not in our group is going to help with the film too. We have not made any specific jobs for each of us we are just working on it all together and contributing whatever we can. Actors: Isabella G.L., Anneliese G., Anabella G.L.
